Firewood Brigade!
On Saturday October 8th a group of volunteers responded to emails and phone calls and showed up at the Shrewsbury Town Garage to help the Road Crew cut, split and stack firewood for the winter…they hadn’t had the time to do it. There was a phenomenal number of people who showed up to pitch in. The camaraderie was in such spirit…anyway, we eventually ran out of wood and had to go home…darn (!) (?)
